Filmigrate offers a free Explorer Tier allowing all users to experience the interactive 3D globe, map movies, and test core cloud features prior to making any purchase. Because digital Pro benefits and server resources are provisioned instantly upon payment, our 48-Hour Technical Satisfaction Guarantee is designed to be fair, transparent, and strictly protect genuine users against technical deficiencies.
1. Try Before You Buy (Explorer Free Tier)
We encourage all cinephiles and world cinema travelers to explore Filmigrate using our Free Explorer tier before upgrading. You can interact with the 3D globe, log movies, test Letterboxd CSV imports, and verify device compatibility at no cost.
2. Eligible Refund Circumstances
A full refund will be promptly issued under the following legitimate conditions:
- Verified Technical Defect: If you experience a reproducible software malfunction, critical data sync failure, or server error that our technical engineering team cannot resolve within 48 hours of your support request.
- Immediate Purchase Error (Within 48 Hours): If you made an accidental duplicate purchase or submitted a refund inquiry within 48 hours of your initial transaction, provided that Pro features have not been heavily consumed (e.g., bulk 4K exports or extensive challenge generation).
- Billed After Confirmed Cancellation: If you were charged for a renewal after successfully cancelling your subscription prior to the renewal date.
3. Ineligible Circumstances (Non-Refundable)
To prevent fraudulent use and abuse of instant digital goods and cloud computing resources, refunds cannot be granted in the following scenarios:
- Change of Mind / Lack of Usage: Deciding not to use the service or changing your mind after successful provisioning and delivery of Pro features.
- Substantial Feature Consumption: Accounts that have generated multiple custom challenges, exported 4K passport certificates, or utilized heavy TMDB metadata lookups.
- Monthly Renewals after 48 Hours: Monthly subscription renewals are non-refundable after 48 hours of billing. You may cancel renewal at any time to prevent future cycles.
- Violation of Terms: Accounts suspended or terminated due to abuse, scraping, or breach of our Fair Use & Capacity policies.
4. How to Request Technical Support or a Refund
If you encounter any technical difficulty or believe you qualify for a refund under this policy, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@filmigrate.app with the subject line
Support / Refund Request - [Your Order # or Account Email]. - Include the email address associated with your Filmigrate account and your Lemon Squeezy Order Receipt Number.
- Provide a brief description of the technical issue or reason for your request so our engineering desk can assist you immediately.
5. Response & Processing Timelines
- Support Inquiry Response: Our engineering desk reviews and responds to all tickets within 12 to 24 hours on business days.
- Refund Authorization: Approved refund claims are formally issued through Lemon Squeezy within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Banking Settlement: Once issued, funds automatically credit back to your original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay) within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or financial institution.
6. Cancelling Your Subscription
You have full control over your subscription at all times. You can cancel future renewals with a single click via your Lemon Squeezy Customer Portal or by emailing support@filmigrate.app. Upon cancellation, your Pro benefits will remain completely active until the end of your paid billing period, with zero future charges.
